This is how the VOCCYS works. The ball start out of a ball collector, connected to your heat exchanger or condenser through the main inlet line. The window on the ball collector allows you to physically monitor the condition of balls. The VOCCYS include PLC controlled pump which forces water through pipe & into the ball collector. The system periodically injects the balls into the inlet pipe at the same time. Then the system water flow carries the ball into the inlet main pipe. The balls go to heat exchanger (condenser), where they are randomly distributed across the condenser tube. The balls flow through the heat exchanger (condenser) tube with normal system flow velocity. As the water pushes the ball through the tube, they clean residue of soft fouling before they built up in the tube to lower down the heat transfer efficiency or increase system pressure. As the ball exit the heat exchanger (condenser), they are collected in ball trap that has no moving parts and zero possibility of ball escape. Once the balls are in trap, the controller opens the valve, allowing balls to carry back in ball collector. This cycle repeats at a predetermined interval.
